Meet Sharon Taylor – Music & Art Educator

With over 35 years of teaching experience in both private studios and public schools, Sharon Taylor brings a lifetime of musical and artistic passion to every lesson she teaches. A classically trained vocalist and pianist, Sharon is also a skilled arranger, writer, and vocal coach. She’s sung with the prestigious Nashville Symphony Chorus and worked for years as a Nashville session singer—adding depth and versatility to her already rich musical background.

Whether you’re just beginning your musical journey or looking to refine your skills, Sharon is known for her personalized approach to teaching. She tailors each lesson to match the student’s unique learning style, personality, and goals—meeting them right where they are and guiding them toward where they want to be. No cookie-cutter lessons here! Her students leave each session feeling encouraged, understood, and excited to learn more.

From children to adults, Sharon teaches students of all ages (her oldest so far was 84!). She believes that music is for everyone—and that it’s never too late to start. Whether you’re learning for fun, preparing for auditions, or aiming for a music career, Sharon will help you build confidence and skill every step of the way.
